Elders are the senior body of leadership in the church. The New Testament of the Bible establishes
the need for these church leaders, and they do important work for the church.
Responsibilities of Elders
Elders receive individuals into the membership of the church, plan and participate in the observance of the Sacraments and accept the responsibility for the spiritual life of a congregation.
