Music is an important part of our worship services. We have a
number of ways people can offer praises to God through music:
Choirs
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir meets Wednesday nights at 7:45 p.m. in the choir room. Any adults, as well as students in junior and senior high, are welcome to join. This group sings in church
approximately 2 times each month.
- Praise Teams
Praise Teams consist of vocal and instrumental musicians and lead the congregation in praise approximately
once each month. Praise Teams include adults and junior/senior high students. Practice times vary, as the different praise teams arrange their own schedules.
- Sonshine Choir
The Sonshine Choir is made up of children in fourth, fifth and sixth grades. They meet each Wednesday evening during
Adventure Club. The Sonshine Choir shares its praises with the church approximately once every 6 weeks, and they also
perform in an annual Christmas program.
- Cherub Choir
First, second and third graders comprise the Cherub Choir. They meet each Wednesday evening during their
Adventure Club activities. These children will sing in front of church approximately once every 6 weeks, plus
they will participate in a Christmas program.
- "The Bells"
Our bell choir meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room. Both adults and high school students participate in "The Bells." Approximately every 6 weeks the bell choir participates in the
worship service.
Special Music
People regularly share their musical gifts with the church. Our Sunday evening services often
have time reserved for a special ministry of music.
