The Reformed Church of America is a mission-minded church. Long a pioneer in overseas mission, it has consistently made a contribution and currently supports over 100 missionaries worldwide.

First Reformed Church of Hull helps support a number of missionaries around the world:

• Bruce & Tamar DeJong, India
  The DeJongs do medical and community development work in India. Bruce is part of a medical team that treats villagers in an outpatient clinic, and Tamar directs an income-generation program for women.

• Jim & Beth Harrison, Estonia, Europe
  Church renewal and the planting of new churches are at the heart of Jim Harrison's work in Estonia. He equips Baltic Christians for church planting through mentoring, fostering prayer and teaching seminars. His wife Beth and their seven children carry out ministries of outreach for Estonian children through a Bible club and assist in the local ministries of the church.

• Seung & Amy Kim, Bangladesh
  Seung & Amy Kim work in Bangladesh with the Summer Institute of Linguistics to help evaluate the need for Bible translation projects.

• Harry & Pat Miersma, worldwide
  Based in Dallas, the Miersmas serve Reformed Church of America and Wycliffe Bible Translators colleagues worldwide. Harry mentors missionary counselors preparing for field service. Pat trains national church leaders and provides Scripture-use materials for churches suffering from persecution, conflict, AIDS and famine. They are supported by the Reformed Church Women's Ministries.

• Marlin & Sally Vis, Jerusalem
  Marlin & Sally Vis work with the Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees to serve Palestinian Christians "in whatever way seems most helpful to them," as the Vises put it.
